ARC Inside:  ARC Advisory Group and FIATECH Co-Host Asset Lifecycle Management Program at Digital Plant 2011

December 5-7, 2011 - Houston, Texas

ARC and FIATECH are pleased to co-host an Asset Lifecycle Management Program at Digital Plant 2011, a premiere plant lifecycle conference for the chemicals, power, oil and gas, offshore, and pharmaceutical industries.  Digital Plant features a content-rich program, addressing the critical factors for plant operations, maintenance, design, and construction.   

ARC and FIATECH will co-host several sessions: Interoperability/Analytics, Material Management, Operations and Maintenance, and Information Management.  The presentations are prepared and delivered by world-leading practitioners from owner, engineering-procurement-construction, and equipment supplier companies dealing with process industry thought leadership, the pulse of technology, and best practices.   ARC analysts will be making presentations and participating in various panel discussions.  ARC analysts will also be available for one-on-one discussions with the attendees.

Analytics, Asset Performance Management, Asset Information ManagementInteroperability and Analytics:  Integrating AIM and Analytics for Asset Lifecycle Management Excellence
The need for and approaches to integrating Asset Information Management (AIM) and analytics strategies are the focus of this session.  ARC analysts will present their research findings in this area and an introduction to “Analytics for Industry”.

Tuesday, December 6

Asset Performance Management:  Strategies to Achieve Operational Excellence
An introduction to solutions that help operations and maintenance integrate disparate production and/or asset data with analytical “decision support” engines.  The output of these solutions provide real-time, KPI-based insight necessary for multi-dimensional problems such as balancing production rate, asset reliability, safety, and operational cost while minimizing damage to the environment.

Asset Performance Management:  Best Practices in Vertical Industries
An introduction and abstract of new ideas and innovative strategies for improving your organization’s performance with best practices from various industries.  Topics include managing the performance of your assets by reducing costs, risk, project cycle time, and energy.

Wednesday, December 7

Asset Information Management for Engineering
Asset Information Management (AIM) is broad and spans a variety of issues.  This session will provide an overview of recent ARC research on AIM and discussions focused on the specific issue of AIM for engineering, which addresses the needs of individuals involved in asset modifications and upgrades.

Asset Information Management for Operations
This session will continue the discussion of Asset Information Management (AIM) challenges and solutions with a shift in focus towards the strategies and technologies organizations need to maximize asset information value for those individuals who are responsible for the daily use and care of asset investments.
